Last updated: 9 October 2026. MoonLight Poker is for fun and casual play by adults. All chips are virtual and have no cash value. There is no real-money play and no cash, prizes or real-world rewards.
1. These terms and the service
These Terms of Use govern your access to moonlightpoker.fun, including its poker games, guides, tools, accounts, chat and private tables (the “service”). “MoonLight Poker”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to MoonLight Poker. You can reach us through the contact form.
By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information; optional advertising consent is managed separately where applicable.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have reached the age of majority where you live if that age is higher. You must be legally able to agree to these terms. Do not use the service where simulated poker or access to this service is prohibited. We may restrict access where necessary for legal, security or operational reasons. Do not bypass access restrictions.
3. Free play and virtual chips
The service simulates Texas Hold’em using virtual chips. We do not accept wagers of real money, take deposits, sell chips, offer cash withdrawals or award cash, prizes or real-world rewards. Virtual chips, rankings, statistics and achievements have no monetary or property value and create no entitlement to payment.
Chips move during normal gameplay, but you may not sell, trade, gift or exchange chip balances, accounts or results for money, goods, services or anything of value. Do not arrange outside bets, paid entry, side payments or prize pools using our tables. References to “cash” games, winnings, buy-ins or wallets describe game mechanics only.
We may correct, reset or remove virtual balances, rankings and results to resolve errors, address misuse or maintain the game. No compensation is due solely for the loss of virtual items that have no monetary value, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded. Success in this game does not predict success in real-money gambling.
4. Guests and accounts
Accounts are optional. Guest continuity depends on browser storage and cookies; clearing them, changing devices or expiry can prevent recovery of your guest seat or progress. We do not guarantee recovery of guest records.
If you register, provide an email address you control, use accurate account information and choose a display name you are entitled to use. Keep your password and recovery links private. Do not sell, share or transfer your account. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We will assess reported misuse; these terms do not make you automatically liable for every unauthorised action.
You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account from the account page. Deletion ends access to that account and its progress. The Privacy Policy explains which records the self-service deletion removes and how to request removal of remaining personal information.
5. Gameplay, bots and interruptions
Tables may include computer-controlled players (“bots”) supplied by MoonLight Poker. Their names, avatars or chat do not mean that they are human. The service may offer play against bots, friends or other people depending on the table and available features.
The server applies the game rules and records results. Turn timers, automatic checks or folds, disconnections, maintenance and table closure can affect hands and virtual balances. A lost connection does not pause every game or guarantee that a seat will remain available. Guides and odds tools are for general education and may contain errors; they are not financial advice or a guarantee of an outcome.
If you believe a hand or result is wrong, report the issue with the table reference and approximate time. We may investigate, correct results or reset affected play where reasonably appropriate.
6. Fair play and acceptable use
You must not:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against or abuse anyone, or use hateful, sexually explicit, unlawful or deliberately offensive names or chat.
- Share someone else’s private information, impersonate a person or organisation, send spam, run scams or post deceptive links.
- Use unauthorised bots, scripts, multiple identities or automation to play, evade restrictions or manipulate statistics; collude or deliberately transfer chips through arranged play.
- Exploit bugs, seek unauthorised access to hidden cards or accounts, bypass security controls, disrupt connections or overload the service.
- Upload malicious content, infringe another person’s rights, or use the service for unlawful activity or outside wagering.
Report disruptive players using the table’s report control where available. To report a security issue, use the contact form and describe the issue without accessing other people’s data or disrupting the service. Nothing here prevents activity that applicable law expressly permits.
7. Private tables and invitations
A private table is accessible through its invitation code or link and any password the host sets. Anyone who receives those details may be able to join, including through forwarding. Share them carefully. Private tables are not a confidential communications service, and other participants may copy chat or gameplay.
Hosts can use available controls to manage invitations, remove players and close tables. Hosts and guests must follow these terms. Tables and invitations are temporary; private tables normally close after 24 hours without connected viewers and may close earlier through host action, maintenance or enforcement. We do not guarantee permanent access to a table, invitation, chat or unfinished game.
8. Your content
You retain any rights you have in the names, chat, feedback and other content you submit. You are responsible for having permission to submit it. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, transmit, display and process that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, protect and support the service, handle reports and comply with law. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content.
We may remove or restrict content that violates these terms, infringes rights or creates a safety or legal concern. We do not promise to review every message or report before other people see it. Information retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Our content and third parties
The site’s software, design, artwork and text are owned by MoonLight Poker or its licensors, subject to applicable open-source and third-party licences. You may access the service for personal, lawful entertainment and education. You may not reproduce, commercially exploit or redistribute protected content without permission, except as allowed by law or an applicable licence.
The site may display advertisements or links to third-party services. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Displaying an advertisement or link is not an endorsement. Any dealings with a third party are between you and that party, without limiting responsibilities we have under applicable law.
10. Moderation and ending access
We may investigate reports, remove content, restrict table access, suspend accounts or end access where reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, cheating, security threats, unlawful use or harm to others. Serious or urgent risks may require immediate action. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us to request a review.
If you think an enforcement action was mistaken, use the contact form with enough information to identify the account or table. Do not create new identities to evade restrictions. Ending access does not remove obligations or legal rights that should continue, including applicable content permissions, restrictions on misuse and dispute provisions.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service working, but do not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, error-free information or permanent storage of game progress. We may maintain, update, change or discontinue the service or features for reasonable operational, legal or security reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will give notice of significant changes affecting existing accounts.
12. Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the free service is provided on an “as available” basis without additional warranties about availability, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss and loss of profits, business or opportunities arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts consumer guarantees, privacy rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including any applicable protection against unfair terms. Any exclusion applies only to the extent lawful in your circumstances.
13. Disputes and applicable law
Please first contact us with a description of the issue and the outcome you seek so we can try to resolve it. This does not prevent you from using a regulator, a court with jurisdiction or any other remedy available under applicable law. These terms do not require arbitration, waive collective-action rights or remove mandatory protections available where you live. Applicable law and jurisdiction are determined by the legal rules that apply to the dispute.
14. Updates and general terms
We may revise these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above identifies the current version. We will give additional notice of material changes where reasonably practicable or required by law; changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. If you disagree with revised terms, stop using the service and, if you wish, delete your account.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. For questions about these terms, use the contact form.
